Scale (oxide) formed on the Hot Rolled Coil surfaces is cleaned by passing through hydrochloric acid or sulfuric acid baths and lubricated with protective oil to prevent re-oxidation.
The product called Acid Cleaned Hair is delivered to the user as a roll or, upon request, slit or cut to length.
